Alliance Imaging can see right through you. The company operates around 500 diagnostic imaging systems for more than 1,000 hospitals and other health care providers in more than 40 states. For most of its customers, the company provides imaging systems and the staff to run and maintain them, as well as ancillary services such as marketing and billing support. In addition to MRI equipment and services (which account for most of revenue), Alliance Imaging offers positron emission tomography (PET), computed tomography (CT), combination PET/CT scanning, X-rays, and ultrasound, among other imaging services. The company also runs a handful of cancer centers that provide radiation therapy.
