ALLIED CAP CORP NEW Profile

One of the largest business development companies in the US, Allied Capital invests mainly in private middle-market enterprises. Targeting such industries as business and financial services, consumer and industrial products, health care, retail, and energy, the company typically provides funds for buyouts, acquisitions, and restructuring, and to fuel growth. It seeks out established businesses that have solid market share and management with significant equity stakes in their firms. The company does not provide early-stage or seed funding.
