Gilat Satellite Networks might have its head in the stars, but its business is firmly grounded. The company provides digital satellite communication products and services. Its Gilat Network Systems (GNS) unit develops very small aperture terminal (VSAT) systems. Communications service providers use Gilat's VSAT systems to offer voice, data, and video services to residential, enterprise, and government customers. Gilat's Spacenet subsidiary provides satellite access and integration services. Spacenet Rural Communications (SRC) provides communications services to rural communities in Latin America.
