SOLARFUN POWER HOLDINGS CO L Profile

Solarfun sheds light on a power struggle in the electronics industry. The holding company, which operates through subsidiary Jiangsu Linyang, manufactures and sells photovoltaic modules used in the production of electronic goods that require solar power. Solarfun Power Holdings sells directly to systems integrators and through distributors to customers mainly in Europe and China. Solar Projekt Energysystem accounts for nearly 13% of sales. More than three-quarters of the company's sales are made in Europe, principally in Germany, Italy, and Spain.
