From January 1992 to June 1996, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing of EMC. He resigned as an executive officer of EMC in September 1998 and as an employee of EMC in July 2002. Ms. James also served for four years as technical assistant to then-Intel chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew S. Grove, now Senior Advisor to Executive Management.
