    Barone became chairman of the Maxus Investment Group in 1973. Previously, he spent six years as vice president of J.N. Russell. Barone is also a financial principal with the National Association of Security Dealers.

    Amato has been the co-portfolio manager of the Fifth Third Small Cap Value Fund. He is currently a Director of Value Strategies and Senior Vice President of Fifth Third Asset Management, Inc. and Fifth Third Securities, Inc. since 2000. From 1991 to 2000, he was Chief Investment Officer of Maxus Asset Management.
