    The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of companies that are similar in market capitalization to those listed on the Russell 2000 Value index. It normally invests at least 80% of assets (including borrowings for investment purposes) in equity securities of small capitalization companies. The fund invests up to 20% of assets in foreign securities, including ADRs.

    David N. Dreman
    Start Date: 12/31/2003
    Dreman is the founder, and chairman of Dreman Value Management, L.L.C. and also the firm’s chief investment officer. As of April 2008, The DWS Dreman High Return Equity Fund managed by him, has been ranked as number one in the Equity-Income group by Lipper Analytical Services since the fund’s inception in March 18, 1988.
    E. Clifton Hoover
    Start Date: 12/21/2006
    Hoover joined Dreman Value Management, LLC in December 2006, and currently serves as Managing Director and Co-Chief Investment Officer. He also serves as a portfolio manager of the Advisor’s large cap value portfolios. Hoover has over 20 years of investment experience managing portfolios for both large and small-sized companies. Prior to joining the Advisor, Hoover was a managing director and portfolio manager of NFJ Investment Group.
    Mark Roach
    Start Date: 12/21/2006
    Roach joined Dreman Value Management in November 2006 as a managing director and portfolio manager of Small and Mid Cap products and has over 15 years of industry experience to the Firm. He is responsible for management of all Small, Mid and Smid Cap products. Prior to joining Dreman, he was a portfolio manager at Vaughan Nelson Investment Management, managing a small cap product from 2002 through 2006.
