    Bill Miller
    Start Date: 04/16/1982
    Bill Miller is the CEO of Legg Mason Capital Management. He has been employed by Legg Mason since 1982. In addition, he is on the Board of Trustees at the Santa Fe Institute, a leading center for multi-disciplinary research in complex systems theory. After graduating with an economics degree from Washington & Lee University in 1972, Bill served as a military intelligence officer overseas and then pursued graduate studies in the Ph.D. program in philosophy at The Johns Hopkins University.
    Mary Chris Gay
    Start Date: 03/31/2006
    Gay is chief investment officer and senior vice president of LMCM. She is responsible for the day-to-day management and investment decisions made with respect to the Large Cap Fund. Ms. Gay manages the portfolio based upon a master portfolio managed by Bill Miller. She joined the research department of Legg Mason, Inc. in 1988 and became an analyst for LMCM in 1989. She was named a Portfolio Manager in 1998.
