The investment seeks long-term growth of capital.
The fund normally invests at least 65% of total assets in marketable equity securities of domestic and foreign issuers. It normally invests in the securities of medium- and large-sized growth companies located in at least three countries outside the United States, and usually maintains at least 20% of total assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities. The fund emphasizes investment in companies in developed countries such as the United States, the countries of Western Europe and certain countries in the Pacific Basin. It may also invest up to 20% of total assets in companies located in developing countries.
