The fund invests at least 80% of assets in securities of non-U.S. companies located throughout the world, including emerging markets. It emphasizes securities of issuers in EAFE countries, but may invest in securities of issuers in any country, including the Russian Federation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks, but may invest to a lesser degree in convertible securities, preferred stocks and other equity securities. The portfolio manager uses top-down analysis. It invests in at least five countries outside of the U.S.
