The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of companies of any market capitalization that fund management believes are undervalued. It invests primarily in the securities of corporate issuers located in North and South America, Europe, Australia and the Far East. The fund may invest in both developed and emerging markets.The Fund may also gain exposure to commodity markets by investing up to 25% of total assets in BlackRock Cayman Global Dynamic Equity Fund I, Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Fund which invests primarily in commodity-related instruments.
