The fund invests primarily in investment grade bonds and maintains an average portfolio duration that is within 20% of the Lehman Brothers U.S. Aggregate index. It invests at least 80% of assets in bonds and only buys securities rated investment grade at the time of purchase by at least one major rating agency or determined by the fund management team to be of similar quality. The fund may invest up to 10% of assets in non-dollar denominated bonds of issuers located outside of the United States.
