The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities, at least 80% of which consists of investment grade corporate notes, bonds and debentures that are nationally traded, including U.S. government and agency securities and corporate issues of domestic and international companies denominated in U.S. dollars. It may also invest in mortgage backed and asset backed instruments whose maturities and durations are consistent with an intermediate term strategy.
