The fund invests all or substantially all of assets in the Master Portfolio. The Master Portfolio has the same investment objective as the fund. The portfolio normally invests at least 65% of total assets in foreign companies with a market capitalization of more than $1 billion at the time of purchase. It typically invests in at least three countries other than the United States at any one time and may not invest more than 20% of total assets in emerging-markets or developing countries. The portfolio may invest no more than 5% of total assets in a single security.
