The fund invests primarily in common stock of small U.S. companies. It invests normally in stocks of small-cap companies of a size similar to companies listed in the Russell 2000 growth index. The index measures the performance of those companies with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth values within the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity universe, which includes the 2000 smallest companies by market capitalization within the Russell 3000 index. It may also invest in derivatives, ETFs.
