The fund primarily invests in securities whose interest is not subject to the federal alternative minimum income tax for individuals or corporations. It invests at least a majority of the fund's tax-exempt portfolio in intermediate and/or long-term tax-exempt securities. The fund may invest in tax-exempt securities rated as low as ?B? by NRSRO or unrated securities of comparable quality.
