The fund normally invests at least 80% of net assets in a portfolio of equity securities of companies that are principally engaged in the real estate industry. It may invest in companies located in countries with emerging securities markets. The fund may also invest in convertible securities, initial public offerings and Rule 144A securities. It also may lend portfolio securities on a short-term or long-term basis, up to 33 1/3% of assets. The fund is nondiversified.
