The fund invests primarily in the common stocks of smaller companies outside the U.S. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets in securities issued by foreign companies which have total stock market capitalizations or annual revenues of $4 billion or less. At least 65% of total assets will normally be invested in foreign securities representing a minimum of three countries other than the U.S.
