The fund normally invests at least 80% of stock investments in companies with market capitalizations within the range of the Standard & Poor's 500 index. At least 65% of the fund's stock investments are "dividend performers". It may not invest more than 5% of assets in any one security. The fund may invest in bonds of any maturity, with up to 5% of assets in junk bonds rated as low as C and their unrated equivalents. It may invest in dollar-denominated foreign securities.
