The investment seeks a high level of current income by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of high-, medium- and low-grade debt securities.
The fund mainly invests in investment-grade debt securities or unrated debt securities that are determined to be of comparable quality by the adviser. It invests at least 80% of assets in bonds. The fund may invest up to 35% of assets in foreign securities, including securities denominated in foreign currencies and emerging-market debt securities. It may invest in common stock and other equity securities in addition to preferred stock and convertible securities.
