The investment seeks to provide high total return from a portfolio of foreign company equity securities.
The fund invests primarily in equity securities from developed countries included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International EAFE Value index. It can invest in common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible securities and depositary receipts, rights and warrants to buy common stocks and privately placed securities. The fund may use futures contracts, options, swaps and other derivatives to hedge various investments and for risk management.
