The investment seeks long-term growth of capital.
The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in foreign equity securities, including common stocks, securities convertible into common stocks, preferred stocks, and other securities representing equity interests such as ADRs, EDRs and GDRs. It always holds securities of issuers located in at least three countries other than the U.S. Typically a majority of assets are invested in relatively large capitalization stocks of issuers located or operating in developed countries. The remaining assets are invested in small capitalization stocks and stocks.
