While it invests primarily in equity securities included in the index, it does not track the index. The fund may take temporary defensive positions in an attempt to respond to adverse market, economic, political or other conditions. It may also invest up to 15% of assets through purchases of privately-offered securities of publicly traded companies located or doing business primarily in China. The fund is nondiversified.
